Better known as The Bombay East India Girl, Kavatkar left a 20-year corporate career to pursue her passion for food.

It was a similar decision to Dimple Yuen, co-founder and head distiller at Two Moons Distillery. “Being part of the F&B industry was never really part of my plan,” Yuen explains. “A passion project led me to pursue this career.”

Both Yuen and Kavatkar faced a path to success that was fraught with obstacles. “I certainly faced a lot of challenges,” explains Kavatkar. “More than being sidelined, I wasn’t being taken seriously.” Similarly, Yuen admits, “There are occasions when people will label me as my gender before my profession.”

Both of these women embody the pioneering spirit of HAUS in their relentless pursuit of progress and innovation. Their values resonate with IWC and Mercedes-Benz, and the brands' dedication to the celebration of inspiring and empowered females who have excelled in their fields.
