About Your Instructor:
Born and raised in Hong Kong, Sarah Vee is a Filipina single-mother and the founder of Women of Hong Kong, a holistic platform to empower women and connect female changemakers with each other. She began her career in 2011 as a PR executive, working with various companies like Star Cruises, and The Asia World-Expo on creative branding, event management, and digital marketing.
In 2016, Sarah Vee launched a successful digital marketing, PR and event agency, creating marketing strategies, event concepts, and cross-collaboration for brands like Michelin Guide Restaurants, Chili Fagara, and 4A agency Dentsu.
The idea for “Women of Hong Kong” was born in 2014, when Sarah created a network called "Girls of Hong Kong”, a tight-knit community that provided a safe space for women with networking and support through social events and common beliefs. By 2019, the group grew to over 3000 members with over 200 active daily contributors on a social platform app.
Today, 7 years later, Sarah works with business partner Jessie Drew to launch the “Women of Hong Kong”, a digital platform set to revolutionise the lives of its members. Whether you are a parent, an entrepreneur, or executive, Women of Hong Kong will be the bridge that brings women together with the common belief that we are stronger together—and that it doesn’t have to be lonely at the top.
Women are revolutionising the world, and this network will pave the way. Through events, courses and conversations, Women of Hong Kong will challenge women to reach their highest potential and step into their power in every aspect of their lives: physically, emotionally and professionally.
