LETTER FROM OUR FOUNDER:

Dearest members,

After a lot of thought, reflection, and conversations with my team, we’ve made a very difficult but absolutely necessary decision to let go of The Women’s Lounge. I know—this space has meant so much to so many of us, but we’re confident this is the right step forward, not just for us as a team, but for the future of Women of Hong Kong!

Here’s the truth: The rent for The Lounge is high, and over time, we found ourselves spending so much of our energy managing event bookings, co-working memberships, and shelf rentals just to keep it running. We realized that all of this was pulling us away from growing the network!

When we built The Women’s Lounge, our goal was to create a safe and welcoming space where women could meet, connect, and just be themselves. Overtime, we've become a community that brings the welcoming and safe space, wherever we go and where ever we host.

Having The Lounge was vital to our journey. It taught my team what we’re truly capable of, and it showed us the incredible potential of this community in real time. This kind of growth is something you simply can’t buy or take for granted! Today, my team is more equipped than ever to take us to new heights - collaborations, partnerships and EXPANSIONS!

Since making this decision, the universe has been responding in the most amazing ways: We’ve already secured new spaces ALL OVER THE CITY!!! From beautiful co-working spaces to elegant restaurants, art galleries, and private homes filled with love and antique collections, we’re excited to take you to places built by members of our own community.

So here’s what you can look forward to:

1. We can focus more on YOU! With more time and energy, my team will be able to listen even more closely to what members need, scout new opportunities, and build accordingly.

2. We’ll explore Hong Kong together! Each event will give us the chance to discover exciting new places while supporting members in the process, bringing our community closer than ever.

3. We’ll support even more businesses. By hosting events in different spaces, we can help drive foot traffic to small businesses and entrepreneurs within our network. Who knows? Maybe we’ll save the economy!

   
   

We’re ready to grow this network from 13,000 members to 30,000 and beyond. As we step into our new roles as builders of the network, we want YOU to let us know how we can work together, there will be sign up sheets at the event:

So yes, it’s bittersweet to say goodbye to The Lounge, but it’s also the start of an exciting new chapter for all of us. We can’t wait to see you there and celebrate together. Thank you for being part of this journey!!! ❤️

Join us on June 28th from 12PM to 6PM for our LAST POT LUCK + EVERYTHING MUST GO sale!

What to do:

1. Grab a ticket priced at 100HKD (or your choice!) to help us cover demolition expenses

   1. 🍤 Think pasta salad, deviled eggs, vegetable tray with hummus, Mini Mozzarella skewers, slow cooker chili, stuffed bell peppers, mini meatballs, fruit salad, cheese platter, pizza squares, veggie quiches... and so much more!

   2. 🎟️ Your ticket fee will help us cover demolition costs and support our team to scale our network within Hong Kong (and other cities)!
