Two years of looking high and low for super soft, good-looking sheets that had no nasty chemicals, and not finding the ideal bedding, led to the creation of The Meluha Shop in 2023.

The Meluha Shop luxury home linen is a celebration of its founder Manisha Sharma’s Indian heritage, using the finest quality, sustainable cotton fabric to create affordable and luxurious bed and table linen. The Meluha Shop luxury home linen uses no harsh chemicals and is handblock printed by master artisans of the Chippa community in Jaipur, India.

Each of our exclusive designs is traced onto wood and hand-carved to create the perfect wooden blocks. Master artisans work over days to hand-block print every piece, carefully layering one colour at a time to create each masterpiece of the home linen collection. It’s truly a labour of love; no two pieces look the same, every print holds a story and is meticulously handcrafted to perfection. Working with skilled master artisans helps us maintain product quality and produce the exclusive designs in small batches all year around.

We believe chemical free, sustainable, high quality and good-looking home linen is not a privilege, it’s a healthy lifestyle, just as essential as restful sleep.
