    A conversation can sometimes last a lot longer than it should. Whether you've had a great chat or you'd just like to be done talking, there are ways that you can exit a conversation politely and respectfully. Maybe there was a lull in the conversation and you had nothing left to add. Maybe you're having a conversation with your boss about a bad review from your direct report and it's making it awkward. Maybe someone in your friend group always has something negative to say and you're sick of it. Here are ten ways to exit a conversation politely and respectfully in person: "It was really nice talking to you, but I don't want to keep you from other things you need to do."
